How to join Thirteenth Week
For one week each quarter (any three month period) participants should be available
to provide the labor portion of their services to clients in return for a dollar-equivalent donation to a charitable
or cultural organization which the client may choose. The time may be provided all at once or may be apportioned
out to fit a mutually beneficial schedule for you and your client.
You may also directly serve a non-profit organization if you wish.
The program operates informally; there is no contract between service providers
and Thirteenth Week. The only request is that for-profit clients make out a check directly to the non-profit organization
of their choice equal to the agreed upon value of the labor they will receive.
If you or your company would like to join the many area professionals who are helping
to raise funds for the non profit community in North Carolina, please contact Leslie Killeen at Pugh-Killeen Associates of Durham,
the coordinating company for Thirteenth Week.
